huh???!!

How is it that you search for something online and use the word 'elegant' and instead of finding something that has a classic look, something that is red carpet worthy you come across someone's lack of understanding of the word elegant.. you find the most gaudy, over the top items that have not only pushed the envelope but have totally obliterated it! Why is there no longer any standard? What happened to reading a dictionary and understanding the meaning of a word before using it? Anything goes is maddening for those of us who actually like and appreciate certain boundaries...

Children

When did moving from the 8th grade to 9th become so expensive??? My oldest is making that transition and in the process i get to spend extra money on a "prom" dress, a "graduation" dress and all of the accessories that go along with them.. I am also privileged enough to get to pay for the entrace fee for the "prom" and close to one hundred dollars for a "class trip" to a local amusement park.

What happened to having a party at someone's house and calling it a day??? I am starting to believe that the schools are in cahoots with the IRS... making sure they get their cut.... the sad part is that she is the oldest and i get to go through this aggravation 3 more times... yay me! :(

False accusations

Do we ever give thought to the repercussions of our words??? Do we think about the domino effect that occurs when we have something to say about someone that is based on assumption, guessing, or even an overly vivid imagination??

I have never been one to trust or rely on the police or court system to mete out justice of any sort... too much corruption and personal agendas... I do believe that God is still in control. I also believe that when you set up someone with lies you can expect the same to be dished out to you before you leave this earth... I can't think of one instance where it is worth it...
